The latest challenge over on Cute Card Thursday is to make a card using some or all of the following colours: hot pink, lime, lemon and orange.
How could I resist using them all?
Doodlebug papers, cuttlebug emboss border, ribbon, sparkle gems, coredinations cardstock
I bought all the bits and bobs for this yesterday when I was out Birthday shopping with Sue. We had a fab time and went to the pub for a huge lunch of Caribbean chicken curry and rice. Was very yummy but with that and my enormous bubba bump I had no room for tea last night! Still made up for it by watching Quantum of Solace, mmmm Daniel Craig!!
The base card is lemon with the other bits and pieces layered on top. I cut the border to match the circle shapes before mounting another piece of lime card behind that I'd run the the Cuttlebug to emboss.
Whilst I've been admiring so many other blogs I noticed that some of you go to so much effort and decorate the insides of your cards too. So I had a go:
Sue gave me her started card for me to finish but I'm not going to share it until I've completed it. If you want to see it, have a look on Sue's blog.
Hopefully my next creation will be lots of Easter goodies made with the fabulous new Spring Wishes collection from Pink Petticoat.
