Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I was using one of the Cuttlebug embossing folders and the bug made a terrible noise and this happened:
I popped it back together but now it won't cut or emboss - any suggestions? I've had it over a year and not sure who I bought it from. Total crafting disaster, I think I may cry!

YIKES! Oh how very sad!! There has been a few times when I think my Cuttlebug won't handle what I have put through and vow to be gentle with it next time LOL.
ReplyDeleteI found this on the internet:
The reason this is happening is because the metal casting (inside the green plastic casing) on one side (where the driving cogs are) has cracked due to trying to force through something that was too thick..
Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done with it apart from complain to the manufacturer.
I don't know if this is your problem or not, but it is the only thing I could find :(
xo
I'm crying with you. That is so sad.
ReplyDeleteOh sweetheart - I feel your pain!!!! Do have a cry - I would :(
ReplyDeleteDon't know what else to say, personally I would be inconsolable (I know, I know - I'm making it worse) I'd better leave it there, big hugs & kisses Victoria XOXO

I could manage without a few bit of kit, but the bug ain't one of them.
ReplyDeleteTurn on the charm and see if you an get a new one like Elaine.
If you tell them you'd publish on your blog what a wonderful company Provocraft is to replace it, they might think kindly on you!
Oh No Victoria! This is not good! Your poor ole' bug. Maybe it has decided to retire!
