Sporting Chance

Another card from me today for two challenges, the sketch below at Sketch Saturday and the title of 'Sporting Chance' from Cute Card Thursday.

And here's my card:

Pink Petticoat image, Nestabilities, Copics, Doodlebug papers

I have been wondering what to do with this sketch since Saturday and felt a bit flummoxed by it because I wasn't sure what to put where the small circles are. Fancied a bit of a change from buttons and flowers so the 'Sporting Chance' theme gave me the idea to use footballs instead!

The image and sentiment are from Pink Petticoat and I did some of the footballs in different sizes and punched them out. Used the plain scallop border punch for the dotty red paper and ran the black card through the cuttlebug using swiss dots embossing folder.

Seem to have done quite a few cards in red and black recently, must be a phase!

  3. I must say that I have noticed that several people shade around the image as well as inside it, as you have here. It is really effective and adds depth to the whole thing. It's great. I must try it!
