Animal Antics

I'm competing two challenges in one here. Papertake have asked us to make a card with an animal on and Cupcake Craft Challenges latest is to make a card for a boy or a man. I went with boy and monkeys!

Rachelle Anne Miller Stamp, Copics, Doodlebug Papers, X-Cut star punch

The stamp is another from Rachelle Anne Miller, stamped with black Memento ink and coloured with Copics. I think I need to use different card with these pens as the Pro-Markers take really well to linen card, but Copics not so much. The Rachelle Anne Miller clear stamps are fantastic for stamping with, they are the best clear stamps I've used so far, I think I prefer them to any rubber stamps I have in terms of clarity.

Instead of going for all blue for a boy, I tried so hard to focus on brown, green and orange but blue crept in there. I matched the star off the balloon using an X-Cut punch I'd bought last year when I made my sons naming day stationery, I haven't used it since then so nice to get it out again.

Can't stop as my parents visiting today, the little fella hasn't been up long but looks like he's heading for a short nap - bonus peaceful shower time for me then!
