Rachelle Anne Miller stamp, Doodlebug papers, Copics
Well this is a first three times for me! First time using this lovely stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller, first time doing paper piecing and first time using my new copics.
I stamped the image three times onto white card, then two patterned Doodlebug papers then went for it with the Copics without a test run first, so all you experts out there, forgive my shoddy shading, these pens are going to take some getting used to! The paper piecing is on the bears paws and chests. Image then simply mounted o matching card, no nestabilities or embossing for a change!
Right, hopefully my sister in law is popping round later with her new fella, so I'd better think about getting dressed. Yes I confess I'm crafting in my dressing gown here!

Goodness, you were quick. This is a real sweetie!
ReplyDeleteA couple of questions... do you like Copics & are they worth the money? I've been thinking about getting some for ages!
Chrissie
Hi Chrissie, thank you!
ReplyDeleteYes I think I do like the copics, I got the Ciao ones as obviously less money. They have a chisel tip and a soft brush side which is going to take me some getting used to as the Pro-markers are firmer. I have to say I prefer pens now to using H2Os or water pencils or sakura pens.
I think I just need to practice, was getting there with Pro-Markers but less colour choice so blending was difficult.
Hope this helps! Why not just buy a couple to see how you get on with them to start?
