The challenge on Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Mirror Mirror' - use something shiny. Well I needed to make a couple of golden wedding anniversary cards this week so that's a piece of luck!
Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, charm, ribbon, Fiskars embossing plate
Hmm, too sunny to take clear photos today so I may replace pic tomorrow. The embossed background was made using a Fiskars embossing plate through the Cuttlebug. They're great as they're bigger than Cuttlebug embossing folders and just right for the size of cards I make.
The embossed champagne flutes are a Cuttlebug embossing folder with Letraset gold rub on numbers. Labels Nestabilities used to mount and frame with gold mirror card, a spot of ribbon and a charm that has 'love' engraved on it and I'm done.
Card 2:
Nestabilities, Cuttlebug emboss folder, Charm, ribbon
This one is really simple, aperture cut using Nestabilities circle with a gold embossed frame and a hanging charm. Finished with a sentiment.

ReplyDeleteHm Like that fiskars embossing plate (and the cards). I've got a few but mine are small patterns.Work well though especially on soft card. Mine go through my wizard- same diff. Hugs BettyXXX

ReplyDeleteGreat cards Victoria. Maybe I should invest in some Fiskars embossing folders. I put a bid on some on eBay once, but was pipped at the post! Maybe I should try again!
