Shape it

Here's my card for this weeks challenge on Creative Card Crew - 'Shape it':

Pink Petticoat Image, White Base Card, Copics, K&Co paper, Glamour Dust

I'd been stuck on this challenge since I first saw it, couldn't decide what shape card to make or how to make it. I was thinking along the lines of making a cocktail shaped card, then it came to me, what shapes do I have already? Why make things complicated when they don't have to be? So I used this Lola Rose image from Pink Petticoat and blew it up on the PC to about 5 and a half inches across in size and put the card in the printer landscape. Creased down the side and then drew around it as I'm not the best when it comes to cutting out without use of a die cutter these days!

Did a spot of paper piecing for the bath and flower with some K&Co papers, I think from Sparkly Sweet Collection and then shaded the rest with Copics. A lot of Glamour Dust and a Doodlebug gem later and I was done. Almost. I finally went round the edges of the cut part of the card with a blue Copic to highlight the edge.

Quite like this one and may make some more in a similar style, makes a change from a square card for me.
