Keeping it simple

A step away from my bright cards! Creative Card Crew have asked us to make 'minimal' cards this week and it was a nice change. Just Magnolia's challenge was to use stitching, faux or real so I combined both challenges for this one:

Magnolia Hearts Stamp, Copics, Nestabilities, Card Scraps

I love this Magnolia stamp, so simple. So I kept it simple by using grey and pink throughout. Shaded with Copics and then added faux stitching to the image using a Letraset fine liner pen. All mounted on some scraps of card cut out with Nestabilities squares. I think I'm in need of a new embossing mat for my Cuttlebug, must be after doing all these for a recent order:

Glad I'm on the wind down from work now as Carpel Tunnel syndrome is getting worse in my right hand so doing lots of fiddly bits and bobs isn't very easy now.

Got a lovely quiet day at home today, just me and Zac so hopefully I'll be enough entertainment for him.
