Get Well Soon

Now then, this weeks challenge at Colour Create has been set by Mina. It's to make a card in Chocolate, red and cream, inspired by a photo of a lovely chocolate cake with strawberries. So where this idea came from I have no idea!

Greetings Farm Digital Image, Pro-Markers, Doodlebug Rub-ons, Ribbon, Card Scraps
I'm wearing a red and cream dress today and feel a little fiery so perhaps this sets my mood for the day! Watch out world....
OK, image is a digi download from The Greetings Farm shaded with Pro-Markers. Was trickier than I thought as I printed the image onto cream rather than my normal white card so had to quickly suss out the colours. Framed on Nestabilities labels dies on a scrap of red card I had in my re-cycle box. The lettering I'm pleased with. I bought them for scrapbooking but decided they were nuts enough to go with the image! They're Doodlebug All Mixed Up rub-ons.
Finally the medicine bottle is made with a Woodware punch with a red cross popped on it. Managed to run a piece of loud red ribbon across the bottom to tie in with the optional extra this week.
Right, back to making wedding stationery, lots to get on with so maybe blog hopping later tonight.

  12. I love the card, but personally I'm not too keen on these oddly proportioned little people as images. Having said that, it's beautifully coloured and a perfect sentiment for a get well card. I think the bottle with the red cross is an excellent addition too.
    Love that border punch.
