Full of the lurgy

Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday, I have caught the lurgy from somewhere and am absolutely streaming. Can't really rest either with Zac needed lots of attention. Roll on the weekend....

Anyway, it's Birthday time over at A Spoon Full of Sugar as they are celebrating a year of blogging. Their challenge this week is 'Celebration' anything goes including anniversary. My Husbands cousin will be celebrating her first wedding anniversary later this month so...

Pink Petticoat paper, ribbon, printed sentiment

They actually got married six years to the day that my Husband popped the question to me! So I can't forget their anniversary.

Not sure I love this card but I appear to have misplaced my mojo somewhere as a side effect of said lurgy. It's the colours I used to make their wedding stationery but I obviously put a lot more effort into those.

And I thought I'd better pop a few pics on of my culinary creations from the weekend too:
Here's the baked chocolate cheesecake. I ended up using a recipe off the Waitrose website and it was as heavy as a brick in the end! Very tasty though:

And my absolute favourite, Tart Au Citron, recipe provided a long time ago by my friend Jo's Husband Ian. I had a bit of a pastry incident but it held the filling and tasted lush!

Right, off to feel sorry for myself now and snuggle up on the sofa with some paracetamol.
