2 Challenges in 1

This is a combination of two challenges. Dawny popped this fab sketch over on Papertake AND my friend Sue has challenged me to 'furtle in my drawers!' for something I have never used. Have a look at all three blogs, they're fab!

Right after I'd picked myself up off the floor from laughing at the title of Sue's challenge this is my creation:

Glitter sheets, Pink Petticoat Image, Cuttlebug emboss folder, Nestabilities, Glamour Dust

I made this for a customer of mine who's wedding order I've just finished. She's been so lovely to work with and is collecting her order tonight. This is my way of saying thank you. She's one of those people who smile and sound happy all the time.

I found 6 pads of glitter paper on top of my drawers (not inside Sue!) and thought it'd better have some use. It's really fiddly to use as it's a bit like mulberry paper so it frays and doesn't like to stick. None the less.....Image is from Pink Petticoat, coloured on the PC and highlighted with Glamour Dust. Sentiment is some pink rubs ons and the rest is just layering up more glitter paper and white and pink card scraps.

I'm pleased with this one. Just waiting for Mum and Dad in law to arrive to look after Zac as got another huge order underway. I'll pop a pick on later this week of the amount of Cuttlebugging I had to do yesterday! I'll have arms like Popeye at this rate!

  1. Great Card for the challenges, good luck with that. I have the same problem with that glitter paper, I have to use Silicone Glue, cos it rips with the dots or runners. Good luck with your order. Love Avril xx

  3. Lovely card, you're so lucky to do what you love for a living so so jealous! Just need to persuade my boss that card making and crafting in general would be a great thing to demo in a large DIY store, whilst I try to manage my frontend team???!!! Don't think that will wash somehow.
