Ever made a card you really don't like? Hmm here's one of mine! Colour Create's challenge this week is to use as many colours of the rainbow as possible with optional extra of creating a scene. The scene was my downfall!

Pink Petticoat image, Copics, Nestabilities, Glitter gems, Rub-ons
This is a card for my mum in law from my little boy. It's her Birthday tomorrow so I don't have time to try another card so this will have to do.
Image is from Pink Petticoat and shaded with Copics, I made the grass with copics too to create a scene and wished I hadn't. The edge of the scalloped nestie was shaded to match and the glitter gems were coloured with peel off pens to make a dotty rainbow. The rub ons are from Doodlebug.
We're off out to celebrate her birthday for lunch tomorrow. Will be lovely as my sister in law is coming up from London with her chap and then we're nipping to pick up the double buggie afterwards as the shop isn't far from where we're going.

  1. Oh Victoria, I hate practically every card I make lol! Your card is really sweet and the primary colours are to vibrant against the white background. Hope you have a lovely time with the family tomorrow :) Donna x

  2. Sorry Victoria my last post should have read 'so vibrant' I really should spell check before hitting 'post comment' Donna x

  3. This is gorgeous Victoria. Perfect for your son to give his Gran. Love the colours and cute image. I found this one difficult - colours - OK, Scene - OK - putting them together had me stumped.
Thanks for sharing this with us at CC.
    hugs Heather xx

  4. I love this card, the scene is brilliant, so colourful, your mother-in-law will love it. Hope she has a great birthday. Hugs Avril always remember we are our worst "critics". xx

  5. Sorry you found this one a bit tough Victoria - if it makes you feel any better I did too and it was my idea, lol!!!
I love your sweet card - it's sooooo cute!
Thanks so much for joining in with this week's CC challenge! xx

  6. I actually love this card! I love the bright colours on the white. I am such a bright colour fan!
